Club History and Goals Greetings Fellow Anime Fans: We, the AnimeXtreme team would like to take this opportunity to welcome everyone of all ages to AnimeXtreme which will be featuring Japanese Animation of all different makes. We're proud to be Toronto's finest anime clubs and the driving force behind the Canadian National Anime Expo. We're conveniently located in the heart of the downtown Toronto area at the Bloor Cinema. (See location page for further detail) The club is intended for anyone with or without any prior knowledge about anime. We're inviting anyone and everyone to simply come in, relax and enjoy some of the best Japanese Animation we have to offer. The club began on Friday January 16th, 1998. Now the club will run either every 2 or 3 weeks on Saturdays from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Bloor Cinema. (See showing page for further detail) We're here to promote Japanese Animation to the public while creating a fun environment to hang out and/or to learn a little more about anime and to meet up with some other anime fans that are out there. Basically, the club provides a place for those who just want to sit down and relax, catch a couple of anime shows on a Friday evening or Saturday afternoon. We don't want to compete with the other existing clubs, but rather to add to and to enrich the quality and the amount of anime available to the anime fans of Toronto and the surrounding area. We also have a vast and fabulous collection of Anime titles that we are eagerly awaiting to share with you. We have some of the latest and of course the good old oldies that make up the world of anime. To really find out what we will have in stored for you, you'll just have to come down to our weekly showings and we're sure that you'll find more than one thing that you'll like! The AnimeXtreme Team
