Ah the weather is gratee, if only my allergies would BEGONE! Last nite Dog and Mao went to Psychedelicatessen and some Improv. Canadian flavored comedy golden, with up and coming talent. The strawberry daiquiri was le unF tew.
Meif and Air are now getting their korean g-g-ggameezz, I must assist them in the fine art of ass kicking. But we going crazy waiting for FF11, Masa already ordered the HDDs for us *howls*
The Project Majestic Mix mp3s (thx to Kitten) and Ys Healing are helping mee wait. FF4 Into the Giant is my fave, and live Costa Del Sol. I dunno why I didn't get Ys Healing sooner, I recognize most of the songs now, and feel the need to rplay it on PC Engine.. but no timee.
WIIIIIIIING nig you better update me, remember I'm your broadcaster :X

I also made a new simple layout recently, find et if u cen..

Having a break from downloading Luther Vandross sangs to say.. I'm not even gonna bother to deal with the beasts trying to get attention/response/links back from me on my page. Everyone agrees, so please do us all a favor. We have our own jobs to do, real lives and problems to deal with.

Kapra miller time! Also hunter Sheila (played by Steve, Stan, Ash and me) now got a Falcon called Angelo, 555! Thx to Jo I finally figured out how to get my windows environment to stay Korean.
It seems lots of would-be players *still* are questioning FF11 being online. It's simply an evolution of the series. A much needed one. While every game has improved graphics (something easy to upgrade, which easily gets more press and even more easily gets attention from people who don't play games) to say that the gameplay and story and well- REASON for playing was really evolving with each game.. is a joke and a fanboy (or girl)'s tune. FFX's evolution? More buttons pressed to do the same battle tasks in previous titles, with a little more 2-bit thinking-before-pressing-it on the side.
Yes, it was another risky loss for Squaresoft and who cares; self-called hardcore fans forget they are not the ones making the decisions, and they really don't know what the general audience wants (they do however know what they want). Its about time something new(er) is done with the series. The milking of the FF name still will go on and the fanboys/girls will cover the losses (the trio of gay DVDs and remakes come to mind).
I can see players asking "but where's the story? the ending? how long is the game?" thats up to the player's convenience. Every online MMORPG has its own little nerd drama going on, its hated people, its popular people, its people that arent even people (bots). The games get updated now and then to become bigger and have more to do, and reasons for exploring. It's persistent.
Its either your cup of tea or not. Like OMG! That's just like EVERY OTHER GAME! You might like it, or you might not! Everything is subjective. Don't play because *he/she said so*, try it or find a reviewer you generally agreed with in the past. Don't ignore a game because it got 2.5/5 on the peen scale of some magazine. Even worse, don't make a scene out of some reviewer's opinion.
I can see FF11's graphics being a buying point for many people. Already comments with "OMG that elvaan chixor looks ugly" or "Look at the view of the plains.. so peaceful". It's just too easy to love or hate things on graphics nowadays. It takes no skill, no effort, to comment on a game's graphics, rather than the tiring examination of gameplay which is found through hours of wash-rinse-repeat or trial-error.
Many people claim to love Softmax' WOG games but have they played them? Hell no. They're not easy. They're long. They take thinking. They are miles easier than the SDRW SRPG games, and those games are horridly long, but like WOG you are playing for the addictive story, to advance and see what happens and who you will gain. The only people I know who have played WOG's SRPGs can talk hours on why they hate most korean games.
Developers don't test enough, don't perfect them, bugs are still there long after release and even after patches. Bosses and battles are inhumanely hard and have loopholes where if you didn't do something 10 hours before, it bites you in the ass now.
Which brings me back to my first meandering point, its easy to judge the graphics while someone else does the work. Players who actually play and live to tell about it are few and far between.
This is part of why the truest voices in the game reviewing industry are the same people as they always have been since before it even existed. They always can sniff out a fake. People who smother their reviews with publisher ass-kissing, combined with 'witty humor', then stamped with 'old school' comments (FOR READER'S APPROVAL! NOD YOUR HED AND REMEMBAR TEH GEWD TIMEZ) for lack of commentry on gameplay which would have taken real time, discovery, real playing.
It's sad that just about every magazine and online one doesn't look harder before hiring. Or maybe nobody really cares anymore. Any content is good content, it fills the pages that people have (already) paid to read.
Man that post was long.. but its just what's on my mind. Game reviewers are truly.. an aging (dying?) breed.

New layout soon. Me and Jo are in pain. Steve, Stan, Ashwee and I are making a hunter called Sheila on b2. Theme of Love (FFIV) concert arrangement is nice. I'm waiting for someone to get things as soon as they're restocked, and the wait is killing me and Ash. Nunames gave free domains, figures the one that I'd obviously get was taken right away.

Sorry everyone I haven't been available to talk or chat. I'm in my own little world spending as much time with Tiger as possible. Its really hard to accept that "feed Tiger" means bring food to him and keep trying to get him to eat it, instead of him running to you when he's hungry.
I was listening to the FFXI soundtrack with the powags. Some of it, ok MOST of it hurts. Its that bad. Bad synths, bad composition, bad arrangement, bad melodies, reused synths, melodies, whole pieces.. Some sounds like it belongs on the NES, while others sound like it belongs in a pron video (and looks it too - Mithra selection).
Yet, the good tracks (ones with an inkling of feeling) are mainly by Nobuo Uematsu. We discovered the MASTAH PLAN is to make you go "Nobuo still rocks, who are these other two guys?". Recommended trax: Opening, Gustaberg, Longfall, Buccaneers, Recollection, Anxiety, Awakening.
Yep Elwing, my main character is in the 80s. How scary is that? She's so invincible, that its addictive to play her and not any other right now. Mainly her destructive power and because she uses no pots and makes a TON OF MONEY for everyone else who needs it, is why I stick to her. I havent played in days, getting tired of the server problems. It also takes forever to level, and the places I level are full of bots/hackers too. One of my accounts made it to beta2 but I havent bothered to get beta2. Thats another messier buggier game..
O.M.G. Wens watched American Desi, everyone who likes 80s movies and is familiar with life as a kid with Indian parents has to see it. Oh man.. Wens graduated and soon dog will too. I feel so inferior >:|
We should have another iparty sometime, it really makes me feel good. Listening to spank and his roommate's renditions of WatsonXHolmes and GandalfXFrodo weirdness is teh shiznit. :B

New layouts from the powags soon, thanks to Ash I also fixed my sprites.
We're thinking of importing FFX as a group and playing on the same server. I dunno, I feel like I'm asking for the most stressful to-get-on-line gaming experience ever. Seems Etoh is handling tho.
Redz that "Thai server" is really just a server planned to be located in China. The plans for it were in January and nothing happened. You will notice this pattern with the company, promises and delays. Don't bet on whatever Gravity says because every serious problem is ignored right now in favor of tinkering with the messed up beta2.

OMG! I got Wens' Nighthood Compilation CD! It's so professionally made :D *unFs it*
Angel proposed to me in the most peculiar way in RO. He brought poporings filled with stuff in mids 4 to me. Cute surprise!
Our party went boss hunting lately, mainly Baph and Doppel. Geo got her first Baph and Doppel MVPs during that time too, wewt!
And OMFG @ the beta2 music tracks.

Angela has an interesting post on fate and destiny. My reply to her is there. I don't think of God or creation when it comes to these things, I follow the Tao.
On that same topic: Dae and Meif I suggest you guys to watch "Long Vacation". Its a J-drama about people who are going through a slump of not being/feeling truly productive. BTW if you guys keep playing RO seriously and get your char to high lvls we can start working hard to get you each a major rare :e
LMFAO "shhiiiite!", for me its the opposite, I couldnt stop laughing at how messed some things were. like... "welcome to the inn!".
I was leveling up on more baphs, mistress in pron, mistress in payon, osi in payon. And NOT A ONE gave an mvp prize. How ghey. Still want doppel :X
