Yeargh, I want to see NEW POLICE STORY!

I don't care what anyone thinks, I love all HK supercop movies. Jackie Chan got da pown. and this one even has videogames involved. Seems it will be completed with English subtitles /joy

1. The music is bonertastic
2. Jackie Chan (nuff said)
3. because of 2, boner action/fight scenes
4. Story looks good
5. The characters don't seem TOO cliche

I know it will be full of surprises and crazy stunts from Jackie Chan. The writing looks good too, the part about Jackie's character getting drunk in an alley reminds me of 'God of Cooking' lololo

After years of thinking that I'd never make a new layout for it, I finally got off my ass and killed everything that irked me so much about Rebelling Princess and it's clique layout. Blue begone. Some content and media still need an overhaul and possible reorganizing. Part of me also wanted it more worthy of being an affiliate w/Jenn's shrine, which, btw, is FAT.

Many adventuars in FFXI and good teims in chet. In general I haven't done anything much in FFXI lately. If I'm not farming or AFK (hah though I do both simultaneously), it's helping AXE/RoD LS members who usually use the phone to get me back at the actual game.

Seul has graced us with a piece of satire and photoshoppery. It's just too easy to make fun of people who take FFXI seriously. The only true part was that we hung out to get Cedric's Jelly Ring and fought the jail brothers.

On Saturday Far organized an Ark Angels BC for Tinu, Anjira, Oosh, Lily and the rest of Oosh's other LS. I think he did a good job of explaining, but many player's attitudes weren't up to (or maybe ready) for such group effort battle. The battle was a success on the first try, but not without unnecessary screwups, deaths and people wasting time by being selfish or not listening. I expected something like that to happen (from what Oosh was saying about them before battle, lol), but not this bad..

Right after that Tina was still in Ru'lude, so we were going "let's get Tina's missions done since we're all here!" We did her Ant BC with BRD (Far, rusty) BLM RDM MNK BST THF which wasn't bad since now we're over 70, this BC was a challenge at level 60. Tinu has a screen of the Eagle Eye doing only 40 dmg! We went outside and got two Star Spinels for people on the Windurst Quest while planning on the next mission.

We did Tina's Jeuno Lord battle with PLD (Sanou) MNK THF BLM RDM BRD. This also went far more easily than how I remember. Physical damage was actually landing and magic damage isn't resisted at all, back in the day it was totally resisted. I think the difficulty was lessened. After that it was a minor pot-Rape and Tina got Tu'lia access.

Since Tinu, Oosh and Anjira's Ark Angels missions are now done, we can go kill little boy and finish off the Zilart missions in time for Promathia. We also have yet to get their ranks up to 10, don't know when we'll be able to, though.

Dog now has his first piece of AF2 (I nearly died fighting his NM!), so it's time to go key hunting and Dark Sparking for him. He and Silver have to do the Skeleton Mission BC soon. Yesterday Ceis finally got his toy Avengers, but not without some fag who logged in and whined about wanting them at the very last minute, despite Ceis providing the LS with items to pop the Bomb Queen and helping hunt even more items, then being at Ifrit Cauldron for every battle. What else can you expect?

Centurio X-I finally decided to give me a Sharman Clork. While bored one day I made Ceis try and pop the NM with me in between farming. On the third rotation a bunch of RDMs who wouldn't fight the normal ants stood around looking stupid and Ceis' MNK fireball beat them to the NM pop.

"So what are you gonna do with that cloak?"
"Toy."

Later did some Tulia God+Kirin as BLM before the Juve vacation. Been a long time since I was Black Mage, the trick to surviving is to pace and spread out the damage dealing. Instead of nuking all mp away at once, one big chunk of damage every few minutes is better.

Played a few games of hide and seek with Kirin whenever he chased me about, ate a few Quakes, StoneGas and survived those too. Elvaan HP=the good stuff.

Drop was very good this time, even though only one THF. The trick to getting good drops is let everyone have a go at Kirin (cast at him/cure/whatever) at one point or another and then tag them out while they're still alive.

Our bored "bench warmers" had fun doing play-by-plays on /say, which made for some pretty hilarious moments. The lack of seriousness made me remember that we've come a long way since our first battles, where we still were figuring out what to do. Though I think the whole mystery of fighting back then, and being unsure of winning made it a bigger adventure.

Later I randomly teleported Ceis around, which I'm sure was very annoying to him. I took him to see some old places that we used to go to as noobs. Around that time my brother died in La Theine to Bloodtear, we dezoned then joined Tinu and telepoed only to find the NM but it was already beaten, orz.

Did some Trigger hunts tonight, haven't done them in ages and felt the need to skill up a little. Interestingly enough we only had about 4-5 people at any one time, the backline was just BLM (me) and BRD. No RDM, no WHM (no raise/haste/pro/shell). Very dangerous but we managed to get Zipcana and Ullikumi (near Ayako's pt). Faust also popped, but like hell we were fighting that.

After that King Behemoth popped and we got it. This was my first time battling King Behemoth as BLM with high int gear and the merit int bonus, nice to see my Elvaan self doing more damage than other BLM on same spells.

This damage also got myself the target each time, I've never had so many close calls in my playing of FFXI. My HP went to like 10 every other second. People were screaming that I'm gonna die each time ("I'm a SURVIVOR"), so /clap for being Elvaan and living through quite a lot of beatings. Luckily only one death, and it was due to the 3 hit combo where you're dead before the hits and stuns even land. Most of my surviving was due to fast handed WHMs and RDMs curing, however.

The battle went rather smoothly, and at the end a bunch of people were cheering in english. I remember one saying it was one of the coolest things they've ever seen in the game. There were a lot of dead level 30s who were watching, too. I saw someone level down a few times by just watching.

Since nobody needed the Black Belt quest item, I got it. Ahaha, and that's the one item Ceis needs for his black belt.

Had quite a few adventures lately, zipped through Jenn's RSE, attempting to get Deis' belt quests done. Killed a Mimic, 2 NMs and opened a ton of Coffers in a relatively short amount of time in Quicksands with Tina, too.

Edit: screens wut wut

Most of my playtime has been unproductive. FFXI as a whole is a distraction. Then, inside FFXI there are distractions from the main distraction. It's like those russian dolls where you open one and a smaller one is inside.

This week there's a Matsuri event (called Summerfest for the english players) and as with other FFXI events, you get a chance to collect meaningless but cute things. The philippino side of me took over and I was long gone. "Test of Courage" meant my main character and my taru mule doing a trip over a dozen times each to get a Yukata, HQ Yukata, fan fireworks and enough chocobo tickets to supply Dog until he's level 60.

Then came fish scooping, at first I was "mreh", but when I started trading in the fish for fireworks (the special kind which looks like an undead mask) I just couldn't stop.

After getting enough fireworks (weapons of mass destruction), I fished madly until I got one of each 'candy drop' color to give away as presents. I already had a Black drop from the Easter Egg event, which I never used because it was pretty rare. The first I got from fishing was Clear, then Blue, Purple, Yellow, Green, White, Red. I stuck them on bazaar and many people have freaked at all the rainbow drops. Currently giving 'em away to people they're appropriate for. I plan to keep Black and Clear (light sky blue) since they be my favorite colors and stats.

During the second day of fish scooping until my brains fell out, we decided to get Anjira her Dune Boots. Once again, first try was mini-zenmetsu on that Sabotender Bailarina. Two backline MP tanks with a PLD tank is just not enough. Medics (ROR), Oosh switching to BRD for MP regen, and people from Tinu/Anjira's set PT got us the win. Later we helped dog get his Genkai 1 items, despite some neochi.

Even later that night (as in 5am later) Ayako decided we should get our WSes. Black Halo and Detonator get thanks to help from Deis, Chu, Awntawn, Motoko and Tinu in the wee hours of the morning. Ayako will be needing more WS NM action soon I bet.

In the midst of all the distractions lately, I did promise myself to farm each day, and tried to hunt more HNM. After a Fafnir fight, a little taru named Juven gave me a Serket Ring.

As for the money I farmed, it went to gear for my BLM and Dog's PLD. Got Hika's toy Orts to make a Snow Ring (INT+5 AGI+2 STR-2) + Torque (INT+1 MND+1 CHR+1 - never on auction). He made both signed with his name on it o_o and also gave me a Diamond Ring for a discount.

For a BLM/WHM Elvaan I think that this Torque is better than carrying a ton of skill+ Torques. For Dog I'm getting some Mithril gear and that Mercenary Earring, he's fat enough on VIT to look shiny in Mithril as PLD.
