§ Clothing  Schala is seen only wearing a few different types of clothing in Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross. I'm not including descriptions of Kid's clothing and what Kid is found wearing in the ending, since this is focusing on Schala. Chrono Trigger The main reason Schala is such a favorite, her cool sprite! Schala wears a royal blue/purple gown, the color of the Kingdom's crest. The top has huge bell sleeves and white trim around a collar. The skirt is long and goes to the floor. Only in the sprites she always has a purple cloak on top of her dress to stay warm. Schala has a pair of dangling gold earrings and a gold hair piece that keeps all her thick hair tied up in a ponytail that covers her ears. The hair piece is depicted as red in Akira Toriyama's artwork. Schala also carries around her pendant. Chrono Cross In Chrono Cross she's depicted as a blonde child with long hair, looking like Kid, in a white dress when fighting Lavos. In the ending, Schala Kid Zeal has some of her hair in a ponytail with a bow, and half of it is let down. She's wearing a straight cut pink dress with yellow and red trim, and a unique collar. She also has unusual pink and white boots. At the very end you also see a framed photograph of Schala Kid Zeal sitting in a wedding dress, really a sari (Indian dress) and her pendant is worn. The sari is modified to be like a wedding dress. She is also wearing a veil hanging from her hair which is in a bun, the train is also elongated. Behind her is Serge, also in Indian styled formal clothing and accessories. § back
