For the Playstation (and PC), Shiva can be summoned by anyone equipped with her Materia. She also appears in the FFVII: Before Crisis spinoff.

For the Playstation (and PC), Shiva can be summoned by anyone equipped with her Guardian Force.

For the Playstation, Shiva can only be summoned by Garnet.

For the Playstation 2 (remade as FFX International), Shiva can only be summoned by Yuna. She also appears in the FFX-2 spinoff.

For multiple platforms. After an expansion was released, Shiva can be summoned by the Summoner job class.

For the Playstation 2. An airship is named after Shiva. Shiva also appears in the FFXII: Revenant Wings spinoff.
