Bear scanned her CC artbook last night. Needless to say I have shiteloads to update on the Schala shrine. Not just design sketches but INFORMATION! Thx god I can read some japanese, cause there's some shocking stuff revealed that is never mentioned in the game! Masa also helped with translating stuff for Bear's future not-so-sECrET shrine! ø I been looking at some FF: TSW clips. Aki's voice doesnt fit, its like nasal and I hope its just for that line, but the rest do.
Wens, I bet you enjoyed it more than I did! Some of the stuff there is in the extremes, but its all in good fun. Aye, I know how Kaery feels, I social log alot since its the only way to communicate to some pplz, like you! I like it when people aren't social logging, its more interesting to read in general.

I decided to continue posting about Lulu info that has been released, cause people like me enjoy reading it. Lulu is 22 years old, looks (voluptuous) and acts like a full adult. She guards and guides Yuna kindly, like an older sister. Lulu doesn't show much feeling on the outside, she acts and speaks in an exacting way to seem cool, calm and composed.
I read the sphere system translations. It seems fairly simple. There's no EXP anymore, you get AP and raise SLVs. You then use up SLVs on the Sphere board to learn new abilities. The board is shared with all the characters, each start at a different point. It is possible for any character to learn skills mainly for other characters, like Lulu to learn White Magic by slowly going into Yuna's area (unconfirmed). The confirmed skills Lulu can learn so far are magic strength boosting and magic defense boosting. (ie Protect). She also has NEW (to FF games) spells that can protect a member from certain magic (or lower damage). Like for Fire it's called AFire, prolly will get changed in the english game. They all have A infront of the name, similar to "Araise" and "Raise" which is "Full Life" and "Life" spells.

In keeping with making this blog more informative than the shrines... Lulu's limit break/aka Overdrive is called "Temptation". It's can do alot of damage, so long as you program your right "analog" stick. Why? Cause you have to do HELLA 360s (OMG its like Mario Party!) and for each 360 she will cast a spell once. Like the magazine says... "HELLA DAMAGE!!!"
nyahaha "Model by Day" was on, a kooky early 90s movie filmed in Toronto (with many Toronto actors) about a model who by night fought crime half naked. It was so hilariously cheesy! Anyways, my brother realized it starred the lady who is JEAN GREY in Xmen, you dont recognize her as her hair is brown (natural) and she's wearing blue contacts here. I also saw this pita while there. I completely agree with what she says about "Girl Gamers" and people in general who play Final Fantasy, and Final Fantasy ONLY. They're not really gamers. Nuff said. Ok, I've probably ranted about something like this everywhere I go, starting back in what... 1997 and in a grrlgamer.com "editorial", but still! FF does not require much of a learning curve, it is however the easily enjoyable, low frustration mainstream game (these days at least). But playing a few FF games, the easier, later, ones no less and saying you're some garden-variety "Girl Gamer" is nausea inducing to those of us who are.

Since I couldn't sleep well, I caught a DS9 episode where Kira is half-convinced into believing she's really a Cardassian spy. Its one of my fave episodes, even though I dislike Kira (Bajoran are sooo boring kthx) cause it really makes me wanna cry at some points.
Also Garak has alot of great one-liners in there. ie "I rather liked him." after he kills someone, right before that someone killed him. I like how he didn't trust the person and even with his back turned, he was still expectant. Man he r0x0rs too much. His half truths make Q look like an open book.
Red Sonja was also on, and I caught a bit of that. Ernie Reyes Jr was on that as the little bratty prince, he was SO ADORABLE, little Ernie I luvuplz! I love movies from where he was a kid, he was the cutest thing with his beatle haircut, a little guy doing martial arts, aww!

B'lanna Torres r0x0rs pls. I just saw an old Voyageur episode that is new to me, and it was damn hilarious. In Blood Fever she went nuts, kicked hella arse and was horny. The thing about this episode is that it actually made Tom Paris really likeable. As for most of the nitpickers there, "noble" is the word they gave him.
There's alot of hilarious one-liners in the episode, and I love B'lanna's last one. "Careful what you wish for, Lieutenant..." It sort of reminded me of when Counsellor Troi told Worf "Hell hath no fury than a woman scorned." the episodes both ended very similarly.

One can have lots of fun with this doll creating thingie! I made myself there, its the only one with clothes I have... I dress fairly boring huh? Yeah I should be sleeping, but my stomache hasn't rested cause dog and I went to a restaurant called ORO. That name r0x0rs! The food was really good & presented nicely, I had seared salmon and he had lobster. The ambience, glass and lighting was really neat and funky too, confused even me at some points! The dessert was earl grey tea and their chocolate cake + orange icecream thing. Very strong/filling chocolate but the icecream helped that.
Ooh, they have a website too! ororestaurant.com! I had no idea they were one of the 10 Best Restaurants in Canada according to a GAM writer! It deserves it though, its the most uniquely spiced salmon I've had yet.
